Merseyside Society for Deaf People

About us

Making Merseyside the most accessible county for the Deaf Community.

Merseyside Society for Deaf People (MSDP) has been supporting the Deaf Community across our county since 1864, and fundraising has been a vital part this.

The purpose of MSDP as a Charity is to provide those aspects of support that are not funded by statutory bodies, like a space for the community to meet, crafting sessions, a Deaf Community Church, equipment to enable us to provide the best possible care and services and British Sign Language lessons within schools, youth groups and those unable to afford our regular courses. We simply couldn’t do this without you, our supporters.

For us to provide the best possible care and a first-class environment we need your help.

You could:

  • Make a donation
  • Organise a virtual event
  • Fundraise at work
  • Take on a challenge
  • Support us through your clubs and groups
  • Get your company to choose MSDP as their Charity of The Year

However you choose support us, you will be making a huge difference and we are incredibly grateful.
